Ready to experience Giving Without Expectations for yourself?
Go for it!
And then share your story here.
You can use the comment form at the bottom of this page.
(*snigger*: “bottom” – lol)
Tell us what you gave and why… And how you felt about it.
Oh, and maybe include where and when you gave your mystery gift.
But remember…
Don’t share your real name or the name of whoever received your gift.
Keep it anonymous, or make up a cute nickname.
Because that’s part of the fun 😉

I gave a film-gift-cart to someone who likes good movies (Friday night, movie night).
It is someone I really like, who is always positive, really listens and likes to share.
I think he can appreciate the initiative (give without expetations).
It gives me a good feeling to give this and to imagine that he enjoys a good film. But I do wonder a little if I really give without expecting anything in return. After all, I already have a good feeling just giving this ….
Yesterday I received a sweet letter from someone I know. It was such a positive surprise. An unselfish gesture of loving kindness. It filled my heart with gratitude and happiness. I appreciate this gesture very much.

I have given toys to children who didn’t have any and they were living in remote areas. Some board games and some stuffed animals. I hope they enjoy the toys with lots of joy and laughter. thinking of doing more and more 🙂

Nijmegen. I have given a person that loves soup so much, two gift cards for the movies. I have send it by mail. There is not a particular reason why I gave this to this person and her wife. They just popped in my mind when I saw this site. I was happy while doing this. Good luck!!
Wijchen, The Netherlands
I have send two movie gift cards by mail to a friend in Wijchen, The Netherlands. I think she is a kind person and she has given so much to so many people. She, and a person of her choice, can enjoy a night in the cinema. Giving in this way was inspiring to me!! I loved it so much. <3 <3
Today I gave my friend a very small present, what ik like very much. If someone gave that to me, I would like it very much. That’s why I gave it. First I was scared to come there, what if she saw me…. But when I came closer to her house, I saw the car was not there. I hang it on the door.
I liked doing it.
Somewhere in the south of England…
I had flowers delivered anonymously to someone who I feel deserves something nice and colourful 🙂
I just loved the idea of giving a gift without the whole burden of the receiver having to say thank you and feeling like now they owe you something in return. Very liberating.
PS: If you received flowers today and you don’t know who sent them to you, just ENJOY those flowers 😉
I think I might the person who received these flowers! Wow.
I did wonder at first who sent them to me… and why.
But then I decided to stop thinking about it and just appreciate those beautiful flowers.
It’s crazy how hard we make it to just receive a gift. Or to give it.
What a wonderful idea this website is!
Thank you 🙏
Yesterday, I left 2 giftcards at a family home in Berg en Dal (The Netherlands). Kind people living there. You know what? Giving (anonymously) makes you feel happy!! Giving is fun! Happy new year.
F.T. (Beek-Ubbergen, The Netherlands). A couple of days ago, I left a gift card to buy a lot of cakes and pies for a group of people working for people in need at a care centre. They are apreciated. Take care!!
I am quite sure this is the team I work with. We want to thank you very much! I guess you know us well enough to know how much we love all these delicious things.
My colleagues and I thought very hard of who you can be, but unfortunately we have no clue. Is there any chance we will find out who you are?? Thank you again for the gift card and we wish you all the best for next year!
P. Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Yesterday, 26th december 2019, I dropped off a dinner gift card. Good good good! Fun site. Happy holidays.
Maybe I’m the lucky one… I received a dinner card yesterday. Whoever you are… thank you very much! What a surprise. I have no idea who you can be or what I dit to receive this gift. That’s a little bit odd but thanks again, I appreciate it!
18th december. Holland, Slagharen.
I gave 10 comic books anonimously. I knew he would like it. Just the idea and feeling before giving it was already big time fun. The giving got me truely enthousiastic. Thank you for this site!! Good lick with it!
